Truman's Ridge says farewell to Czech musician

Thanks to the Prescription Bluegrass Blog for the news that Karel Waska has completed his doctoral thesis in the USA and will be going home to the Czech Republic later this month, after a year of playing bass for the Chicago area bluegrass band Truman's Ridge (shown above, with Karel on bass). Greg Heintz will be replacing him in the band.

A farewell concert at the House Cafe, De Kalb, Illinois, followed by a jam session, will be held on 19 December 2013, two days before Karel goes home.
