4th European Bluegrass Summit, Bühl, 2-4 Mar. 2012

The 4th European Bluegrass Summit, held at Bühl, Germany, on 2-4 Mar. 2012 through the hospitality of the city council, discussed a range of topics and drew up plans for action in the following fields.

Festivals: Enhancement of the EBMA Festival Network; collection of market data on the value of bluegrass events for venues and host areas; development of a 'European Bluegrass Concert Hub / Circuit'; preparation of an EBMA 'White Paper' on planning a festival; entertainment and workshops for kids at festivals; encouragement of jamming facilities as part of a festival.

Jamming: Support for Wernick Method initiative in Europe.

Concert tours: Create preliminary 'White Paper' for agents on organising a European tour.
