Chris Jones Performs Exclusive House Concert in Holland

Short notice, but a worthy notice!

Songcrafter / singer Chris Jones (Nashville, USA) will be taking time out from "The Night Drivers" band tour in Germany to perform an exclusive solo show at a legendary house concert venue in the Netherlands on Sunday, October 2, 2011.

Chris' resume includes appearances and recordings with some of the world’s most respected musicians. A partial list includes The Chieftains, Earl Scruggs, Vassar Clements, Tom T. Hall, Lynn Morris Band, the McCarters and the award-winning quartet Weary Hearts. Chris is also a well known DJ on Sirius Satellite Radio’s bluegrass channel. He is currently nominated for '2011 IBMA Broadcaster of the Year' at Thursday's awards show in Nashville. He has frequently toured throughout Europe since the early 1980s. Chris performed with both Lynn Morris and Weary Hearts in the original Home of Strictly Country where 'Het Blauwe Huis' now sits. He also has recordings on the Strictly Country Records label.
'Het Blauwe Huis' is a new home built in the eastern region of Holland, on the very spot where the infamous Strictly Country concerts were hosted by Rienk Janssen and his family for two decades. Liz Meesters-Janssen is producing occasional concerts in her living room in Vlagtwedde and her band "Close To Home" will be the opening act with Chris on Sunday.

The space is limited and advance reservations are required. Details and directions will be forthcoming for those who reserve their seats. Pay your admission at the door. 100% of the admission fee goes directly to the artist.
