Rainbow on the air at Strasbourg, 30 Apr. 2011

Walter Fuchs, director of the Bühl Bluegrass Festival in Germany, reports:

On Saturday 30 April I was invited by Radio Arc en Ciel in Strasbourg, France, to be part of a two-hour weekly programme, 'Country Roots'. The live program ran from 10.00 a.m. to 12.00 noon, and nearly two hours' music was played from bands that will appear at the 9th International Bühl Bluegrass Festival. I answered lots of questions about the artists, how to choose them, and how to get in contact with them. Also two of my favorite songs were played: Alecia Nugent, 'The Nugent Family Band', and the Midnight Ramblers, 'As steady as the rain'. Producer and presenter of the program was as always Marion Lacroix and 'Old Jack' Neufeld did the translations. Everybody had a good time.

Arc en Ciel can be heard on 90,70 MHz and online.
