Thanks to Walter Fuchs, who reports:

The 8th International Bühl Bluegrass Festival will take place on Friday 14 May and Saturday 15 May. Friday will be kicked off at 19:00 by 4 Wheel Drive (D/NL/BE) together with Dutch singer Jolanda Peters. They will be followed up by the neo-old-time quintet Uncle Earl (USA), who call their European tour 'The Schnuckiputzi/Beer Pressure Tour'.

After two open-air concerts in Bühl’s pedestrian zone on Saturday morning by 4 Wheel Drive and the US group Midnight Ramblers, the curtain goes up again at the Bühl Civic Center. At 14:00 the G2 Bluegrass Band (S) will kick off the second festival day with its driving bluegrass sound, followed up by legendary singer/songwriter James Talley, who will be accompanied by 4 Wheel Drive. Next in line will be the Midnight Ramblers (USA) from Virginia, and the last group for the afternoon show will be the Sons Of Navarone (BE), one of the best European bluegrass bands.

After a break to relax, the show continues at 19:00 with the same lineup and will reach the climax at about midnight with the big finale with all groups. Pre-sale is good and we all expect another fine Bühl Festival.
