New Acoustic Gallery newsletter, Feb. 2010

The New Acoustic Gallery (NAG) in Solingen, Germany, invites readers of its February newsletter to say what artists they wish to see at the Gallery, and in what styles of music: 'Bluegrass? Jazz? Swing? Happyfeetjamgrass?'

Events already scheduled for 2010 include a concert by the Trio Vibracao on 13 November and a mandolin workshop with Jesper R. from 12 to 14 November. The NAG will have a presence at two major festivals: the European World of Bluegrass at Voorthuizen, the Netherlands (13-15 May) and the Eurofestival Zupfmusik in Bruchsal (3-5 June).

New products in the NAG include mandolins (right) by the Canadian luthier Michael Heiden (as used by John Reischmann); K & K pickups for guitar, banjo, and mandolin; tuners, metronomes, armrests, tailpieces, capos, and picks; books ranging from The Beatles for banjo to Jim Mills's Gibson Mastertone banjo book; and CDs by Mike Marshall and others.
