Foreign Affairs at World of Bluegrass 2009

Acousticure (Hungary), #1 European Bluegrass Band 2008

International bluegrass has its own dedicated showcase during IBMA’s World of Bluegrass 2009 - 'Foreign Affairs', held in Room #109 at the Nashville Convention Center, Nashville, TN, during the After Hours Showcases programme on Tuesday 29 September and Wednesday 30 September.

European bands playing on the Foreign Affairs schedule or elsewhere during World of Bluegrass 2009 include 29 Strings, Slovakia; Acousticure (#1 European Bluegrass Band 2008), Hungary; the Toy Hearts, United Kingdom; Red Wine, Italy; G2 Bluegrass Band (#1 European Bluegrass Band 2007), Sweden; Blue Railroad Train, France; and Mala, Switzerland.

Other appearances in the USA by these bands are listed on their websites and MySpace pages. Also appearing on the Foreign Affairs showcase will be Janet McGarry & band, Canada; the Davidson Brothers, Australia; and Eric Uglum & Sons, USA.
