Sons of Navarone hit the spot in UK


The Sons of Navarone (Belgium) received a standing ovation after heading the bill for two nights at a mini-festival in Mickleham, Surrey, England, according to the latest issue of British Bluegrass News.

Phil Thrift describes them as 'a Hot Rize type band with perfectly balanced singing and choreography, which captivated the audience from beginning to end'; compares the Sons' instrumental and vocal work with Scruggs, Stanley, Sam Bush, and Jimmy Martin; and concludes: 'This band was awesome!!'
