American bands visiting Europe, May-June


The Wailin' Jennys

In addition to Robert Plant and Alison Krauss, bands that will be visiting Europe in spring and early summer 2008 include:

Chatham County Line, whose tour begins on 27 April with three dates in Norway (Oslo, Drammen, and Bergen), and continues with two in Ireland (Kilkenny, Belfast) and five in Britain, ending in London on 11 May;

the Dick Smith/Mike O'Reilly Band, playing ten dates in Britain between 25 April and 4 May;

Beverley Smith and Carl Jones, playing at least fourteen dates in Britain and France between 8 May and 31 May;

Brother Mule (Brian Wicklund, Ben Winship, Eric Thorin), with two festival dates in the Shetland Islands and England between 1 and 11 May;

the Wailin' Jennys, playing fourteen dates in Ireland and Britain between 8 May and 31 May;

and Crooked Still, who will be in Denmark (16-21 May), the Orkney Islands (22-25 May), Britain (30-31 May), and Ireland (1-9 June).
