The Ebony Hillbillies fill the gap

At the start of a European tour by the Carolina Chocolate Drops, the Bluegrass Blog carries a feature on how the Ebony Hillbillies from New York City stepped in to fill a gap in the recent Wintergrass Festival programme when the Chocolate Drops had been unable to come. The feature includes a link to a story in the Tacoma News Tribune.

The Hillbillies appeared at Wintergrass as a quartet: as a duo, comprising Norris Bennett (guitar, banjo, dulcimer, etc.) and Rique Prince (fiddle) they appeared at the EWOB Festival at Voorthuizen a few years ago.
