Boogiemen keep busy

The Blue Grass Boogiemen (NL) report a very busy spring and summer season. In June alone they played twenty-five shows, mostly in the Netherlands, but also in Norway, Denmark, and Switzerland. One of the highlights was performing at the Zwarte Cross festival in the Netherlands, with 93,000 people in the audience over the weekend.

One of the tunes Arnold Lasseur wrote, 'My heart still beats for only you' (from the album Who's afraid of the Boogiemen?, Vandiver Records), is going to be used for a Swiss motion picture written and directed by Micha Lewinsky. He will also be the mandolin player for Butch Robins's World International Blue Grass Band which performs at IBMA's World of Bluegrass 2007.
