The following sad news has been received from Christopher Howard-Williams, president of the France Bluegrass Musique Association:
'Frederic Arsonneau, the president of the AEGC Bluegrass Association in Paris, died last night. He had a brain tumour that was discovered in November. French bluegrass is in mourning.'
The above photo shows Frederic on stage (front centre, with banjo) with Blue Railroad Train (France) and Monogram (Czech Republic) at a special concert on 24 May 2003 to mark twenty years of the AEGC Bluegrass Association.
